I was born in Los Angeles, California and have slowly moved my way North through the state before landing in Reno, Nevada. I spent roughly seven years in the beautiful town of Bishop, California, ( or that place near Mammoth) where I learned to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and I learned to fall in love with the simple things in life, like quality friendships, nature, and to never, ever feed the bears.
I am currently a business student studying Marketing at the University of Nevada, Reno. My time spent in Reno has allowed me many opportunities that were not available in the small town of Bishop. I am forever grateful to Reno because of its tight-knit community, beautiful campus, semi-flowing Truckee River(praying for snow),and it’s close proximity to Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
But I would be remiss if I failed to mention the brotherhood of of the Delta Xi chapter of Sigma Nu. Never in my life have I been so fortunate to join an organziation filled with such selfless and caring indivuduals. My time as an active member of Sigma Nu has humbled me; but more importantly it’s helped shape my perception of the world and those around me. Sometimes it’s awesome being a big fish in a small pond, but it’s more impactful to be part of something bigger than yourself.
